Nancy Culp, 62, of Lucasville, Ohio, was shot and killed on April 13, 2016. Her death was part of a double homicide that also claimed the life of 83-year-old Bobby DeHart; the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office determined both deaths were homicides.

Investigators say Anthony Carl Colvin, 33, an acquaintance of DeHart, had been caught stealing money from DeHart, which led to an altercation in DeHart’s residence. DeHart was shot during that confrontation. Culp, who lived in the unit above, came down to investigate the disturbance and was shot by Colvin as well. Colvin fled but was arrested a few days later and charged with two counts of aggravated murder and other offenses; he was held on a $505,000 bond.
