Heather Bogle, 28, of Sandusky County, Ohio, was last seen leaving her night shift at the Whirlpool plant in Clyde around 6:15 am on April 9, 2015. When she failed to return home or pick up her young daughter from school, family members reported her missing. Her car was later recovered near the Somerton Apartments in Clyde; her body was found in the trunk.

An autopsy determined Heather suffered extreme physical abuse and died from two gunshot wounds to the back. Investigators tracked Heather’s phone using her Google email and GPS to a trailer identified as the last known location of the device, and DNA matching a suspect was found under her fingernail. Police initially focused on a resident of the apartment complex where the car was located but later cleared that person.

The investigation included several high-profile developments and controversies that affected the case and the family. Heather’s daughter, McKenzie, remains in the care of family and the community. Does anyone have information about Heather’s movements on April 9, 2015, or remember seeing her car near the Somerton Apartments?
