Gilberto Jurado was 27 when he was last seen on April 7, 1989, in West Covina, California. The day before he disappeared he had quit his job and had recently ended a relationship. Jurado’s car was found abandoned on April 8, 1989, in a new-home construction area in Yorba Linda, near Chino Hills State Park.

There has been no trace of Jurado since the vehicle was located and the circumstances of his disappearance remain unclear. The case has gone cold with no significant public leads reported after the car was recovered. Anyone who knew Gilberto, or who may have seen him or his car in early April 1989, is asked to come forward with information.
