Ramiro Sanchez was 28 when he was shot and killed on March 9, 2014, while working as a bartender at the Last Call Bar in Fremont, Ohio. A musician and entrepreneur, he owned OH-10 Graphics & More and operated his own record label, OH-10, and was remembered by family and friends for his passion for music and local business.
Authorities say the shooter, 33-year-old Igmidio Mista, opened fire inside the bar early that morning. The attack also killed Jose Andy Chavez, an off-duty Elmore police officer, and Daniel Ramirez; a fourth person, Ramiro Arreola, was wounded but survived. Investigators used witness statements, surveillance video, and a blood sample from Mista found at the scene in building the case. Mista was arrested and charged with first-degree murder; he pleaded no contest and received a life sentence with the possibility of parole after 44 years.
If anyone knew Ramiro or was at the Last Call Bar that night and can add details about what happened, please share what is known.
