Antonio Tony Spraggins, 22, of Elyria, Ohio, was found dead on January 5, 2014 in a bullet-ridden Chevrolet Equinox near Foster and Lake avenues. The vehicle’s engine was running and the tires were still spinning when it was discovered, and Spraggins died of a single gunshot wound to his torso. He was a 2010 graduate of Elyria High School and was born November 23, 1991.

Elyria police arrested three men in connection with the case: Andre Jackson, 19; Jordan Williams, 25; and Jeris Geiger, 21. Authorities reported evidence indicating Williams fired the fatal shot while Jackson and Geiger acted as accomplices. Jackson and Williams were each indicted on two counts of murder and one count of felonious assault; Williams was later convicted of murder and felonious assault in Lorain County Court of Common Pleas in October 2016.
