Frankie Dean Thomas Jr., 37, was killed on February 23, 2022, at a home on Neil Road in Southampton Township near Shippensburg, Cumberland County. What first drew emergency responders was a house fire; investigators later determined Thomas and 54-year-old Eddie Lee Shaw had died of gunshot wounds and that the residence had been intentionally set on fire. Reports said Thomas was found in a luxury vehicle in the driveway and Shaw inside the burning home.

Authorities quickly developed leads pointing to two men, Larry Burns and Cordaryl Burns. Arrest warrants were issued March 16, 2022; both were arrested later that month and returned to Pennsylvania to face homicide, arson, conspiracy, and related charges. Prosecutors filed a Notice of Aggravating Circumstances against Larry Burns, seeking the death penalty if convicted of first-degree murder.

The incident is linked in reporting to the disappearance of Jasmine Forbes, who had been staying at the Neil Road home and was later reported missing; her remains were subsequently found in Florida and her death was described as a homicide in later reports. Does anyone have information about Thomas, Shaw, or the Neil Road property that could help clarify what happened that night?
