Andrew Ozio, 29, was shot to death on November 9, 2020, in an alley on the 100 block of East Crawford Avenue in Altoona, Pennsylvania. He was found lying in a pool of blood with three gunshot wounds — to the neck, chest, and head. A lead pipe and three .40 caliber casings were located near his body.

Investigators tied the killing to a dispute over a marijuana sale. Ozio had agreed to sell marijuana to Vasilios Pentsas Jr., 34, for about $440; after receiving the drugs Pentsas wanted to return them. The dispute escalated when one of Pentsas’ friends was struck with a lead pipe, an act Pentsas believed Ozio had committed because of the debt. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing Pentsas flee; he was arrested soon after and led police to a .40 caliber handgun with an obliterated serial number.

The victim’s family and the community were greatly affected by the violence. Does anyone have information about Ozio’s movements that day or about the dispute leading up to the shooting?
