Christopher Patrick Levy was 19 when he was fatally shot in an apartment on South Main Street in Penn Township on November 5, 2018. A recent graduate of Warwick High School, Christopher — known as Chris — was described as kindhearted, loyal, and close to his mother and maternal grandparents. He collected high-end sneakers, liked rap music, and worked on tuner cars.
On the night he was shot, Christopher had been with acquaintances including 24-year-old Shawn D. Bergman. Those present reported that Bergman and Christopher had been together for several days without sleep and under the influence of multiple drugs. Bergman fired a pistol taken from his stepfather, striking Christopher in the face; others in the apartment fled and first responders found Christopher gravely injured. He was taken to a Philadelphia hospital and died on November 7, 2018, after two days of treatment.
Bergman was taken into custody; witnesses reportedly heard him exclaim that he had just shot his friend. He later pleaded guilty to third-degree murder and received a 12 to 24 year sentence. Does anyone who knew Christopher or was in that area that night have information to share?
