Stephen J. Kriebel, 58, was fatally shot at his Colebrookdale Township home in the Boyertown area on the morning of December 28, 2017. The shooter was identified as 32-year-old Matthew Boyer, who had been dating Kriebel’s daughter. Kriebel’s wife was in the home and witnessed the start of the altercation but did not see the fatal shots.
