Victor Grandy, 32, was shot and killed on a Sunday evening in October 2016 at the Sherman Hills apartment complex in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Grandy, a visitor from Rockaway, New York, was struck in the torso and died at the scene after an argument at the complex escalated into gunfire. The dispute that triggered the shooting has not been publicly described in detail.

The investigation advanced when U.S. Marshals located and arrested 24-year-old Dominic Jaquariuspa Ray of Wilkes-Barre in New York City in January 2017; he was charged with homicide and later ordered to stand trial. In June 2018 Ray pleaded guilty to third-degree murder and was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in state prison for Grandy’s death.

If anyone knew Victor, was at Sherman Hills that night, or has information about the argument that led to the shooting, please share what is known.
