Meshach Shack Punter, 25, was one of two men found shot to death at a Millview Street residence in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, on June 23, 2016. Officers responded to calls of shots fired at about 7:15 p.m.; Punter and 37-year-old Corey Johnson were pronounced dead at the scene just after 9:15 p.m. Two handguns were recovered at the location and a third person was present and cooperative during an initial interview, but it was not clear whether that person was involved in the shooting.
The Fayette County coroner reported identities and said cause of death was pending autopsy and toxicology. Uniontown police, state police, and Fayette County detectives handled the investigation. Friends and family have provided information to authorities, but no suspects or arrests had been announced and the district attorney declined to release further details while the inquiry continued. Does anyone have information about that evening or about Meshach that could help investigators?
