Jeffrey Evans, 43, was found shot to death in the hallway of his Hunlock Creek, Pennsylvania home on April 24, 2014. His father, 73-year-old Ronald Evans, was also found dead on the rear deck of the residence; both victims had been shot multiple times. Investigators concluded the killings stemmed from a tumultuous relationship and jealousy.

Authorities arrested 31-year-old James Roche and 39-year-old Holly Ann Crawford. Roche was accused of pulling the trigger and Crawford of acting as an accomplice; both were charged with criminal homicide. Prosecutors presented a theory of premeditation and intent, while the defense argued Roche acted in self-defense. The trial resulted in convictions for first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder, with each defendant sentenced to two consecutive life terms without parole.

The verdict brought some closure to the family, though it cannot restore their loss. Did anyone in the community have information about the relationships involved or the events leading up to that April day?
