Anthony Robustelli, 50, vanished from Islip, New York, around September 1, 2013, but his disappearance was not reported to police until May 29, 2014. Neighbors alerted authorities after noticing Anthony and his sister had not been seen for about six months, prompting a welfare check that found the home in severe neglect. The house reportedly contained garbage, clothing, and human waste and had no running water, heat, or electricity; those conditions led to the property being condemned.

Anthony’s sister was located and taken to a hospital for evaluation, but Anthony was not at the residence. Described as a recluse who suffered from bipolar disorder, he was known as Tony. At the time he went missing he was described as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches, about 170 pounds, with long gray hair, a long beard, and brown eyes; reports also noted he did not trim his toenails, which made him prone to infections. A Silver Alert was issued and an investigation followed, but little is known about his last known movements or possible destinations.

Does anyone in Islip or the surrounding area remember seeing Tony around late summer 2013 or have information about where he might have gone?
