Winter 2012 in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, ended with a violent spree that left three people dead. On December 21, 38-year-old William Harrison Rhodes Jr. was deliberately targeted by 44-year-old Jeffrey Lee Michael. While driving his pickup on a rural road, Rhodes was rammed by Michael’s vehicle; the cause of death was listed as blunt force trauma from the collision and a gunshot wound.
Earlier that day Michael had fatally shot 58-year-old Kimberly Scott at the Juniata Valley Gospel Church and his 60-year-old neighbor, Kenneth Lynn, who was Rhodes’s father-in-law, in his driveway. Michael later exchanged gunfire with state police and was shot and killed; the Blair County District Attorney’s office ruled his death a justifiable homicide.
Are there witnesses or local residents who remember the road, the vehicles, or anything unusual that day?
