Sothon In, a 38-year-old Cambodian-American U.S. Army veteran, was found dead at his Clarksville, Tennessee home on January 3, 2022 with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. His wife, 32-year-old Theary Lim, was found at the scene unresponsive on the living room floor and was hospitalized.

Clarksville Police Special Operations Homicide Unit investigators determined the wound was not self-inflicted. Home security video from the day recorded Lim pacing in the living room and at times holding a semi-automatic handgun and a knife. About nine hours passed between the shooting seen on video and when police were called to the house. Lim later claimed the gun discharged accidentally while she was playing with it in bed next to her husband, but she was arrested after release from the hospital and charged with criminal homicide; the case was bound over to a grand jury.

Friends and family described In as a devoted family man and a veteran who had emigrated from Cambodia. Does anyone have information about Sothon In’s final day or about the events captured on the home video?
