On July 28, 2021 in Morristown, Tennessee, a confrontation outside a private residence ended when 44-year-old Brian Welton Stone was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. The incident began when 53-year-old Thaddeus Theodore Wallace Jr. placed a 911 call reporting an intoxicated person trespassing on his property. Stone was not a resident of the home where the altercation occurred.
Wallace was arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter. He pleaded that he had acted in self-defense, and the case later went to trial where a jury accepted that claim and returned a not guilty verdict, closing the legal proceedings.
Does anyone have information about what led to the confrontation that night or knew Stone’s movements before he arrived at that residence?
