Bailey Danielle ’Boo’ Donoho, 21, was shot and killed after an altercation on Browning Branch Road in Hartsville, Tennessee. The incident began March 30, 2019, when Bailey was in a vehicle with two men. The other passenger escaped and ran to a nearby house for help while Carter reportedly drove away.
The Trousdale County Sheriff’s Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation investigated the shooting and identified Benjamen Carter as the primary suspect. Carter was already in custody on an unrelated charge when he was served with new charges; a Trousdale County Grand Jury later indicted him on one count of First Degree Murder for Bailey’s death and one count of Attempted First Degree Murder for the other passenger. He remained held without bond pending legal proceedings.
Does anyone have information about Bailey, the vehicle, or the events that night that could help clarify what happened?
