Kamondrez Carlton, 21, was found at Quick Mart 34 on Nashville Highway in Columbia, Tennessee on Friday, December 14, 2018, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital and later died of his injuries. Investigators determined the shooting occurred at a residence on Daniel Court in a neighborhood behind Spring Hill High School; the school was briefly placed on lockdown while police worked the scene and it was confirmed no students were involved. Authorities arrested 20-year-old D-Qwaun Dalton in connection with the shooting and charged him with second-degree murder and aggravated assault resulting in death. The Columbia Police Department asked anyone with information to come forward.
