Detrick D. Mosley, 39, was shot in the parking lot of the In and Out Market on Kraft Street in Clarksville, Tennessee, on the evening of January 26, 2018. He was taken to Tennova hospital but died of his injuries. A Clarksville native and former Northeast High School student, Mosley’s family remembered him as laid-back and easy-going with a big smile who liked to tell jokes.

Detective Chris Cunningham led the investigation. A suspect, 25-year-old Deandre Marrece Ellis, was identified; at the time of Mosley’s death Ellis was already in custody at the Montgomery County Jail on unrelated charges including Felon in Possession of a Handgun and Violation of Probation. Ellis was later served with warrants charging him with First Degree Murder, Tampering with Evidence, and Theft.

If anyone knew Detrick, witnessed the shooting that night, or has information about the events in that parking lot, please share what you know.
