Terry Edward Hill, 40, was found fatally shot at a residence in the 6000 block of Campground Road in Drummonds, Tennessee, on August 16, 2017. Deputies from the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office discovered Hill with multiple gunshot wounds and turned the scene over to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to lead the inquiry.

Investigators identified 26-year-old Zachery Dalton Quinley, who reportedly lived at the same home, as the primary suspect. Quinley was arrested early the morning after the shooting and booked into the Tipton County Jail; he was later charged with one count of first-degree murder and held without bond. Authorities did not immediately release a motive for the shooting.
