Antonio Henson was 21 when he was found with multiple gunshot wounds near the intersection of Kellogg Street and Farris Drive in Clarksville, Tennessee, on January 21, 2017. First responders transported him to Tennova Healthcare, where he was pronounced dead around 3:00 p.m. The shooting was reported to have originated in a dispute over two pills valued at about $150.

The Clarksville Police Department’s Homicide Unit, with help from Kentucky agencies, investigated and a Montgomery County grand jury returned indictments in June 2017. Four people were charged: Tavarious Goliday and Michael Mimms, both 18 at the time, faced first-degree murder and conspiracy counts; Davayon Nikee Head, 20, and Kevonte White, 18, were charged with conspiracy, and White also faced tampering with evidence allegations.

A jury trial that opened on January 21, 2020 produced mixed verdicts. The jury found Tavarius Goliday guilty of premeditated first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and reckless endangerment; he received an automatic life sentence. Michael Mimms was convicted of facilitation to commit first-degree murder and conspiracy and given a 15-year sentence. Davayon Head was acquitted of the conspiracy charge. Kevonte White testified for the prosecution, identified Goliday as the triggerman, admitted disposing of the weapon in a pond, and, after cooperating, is serving a prison sentence.

Did anyone in the Clarksville area know Antonio, his movements that day, or have information about the dispute that led to his death?
