Late on February 18, 2015, Perry Folk, 38, was found in the parking lot of a Roadrunner convenience store on East Unaka Avenue in Johnson City, Tennessee, after sustaining a fatal gunshot wound. Police arrived about 10:15 p.m.; witnesses reported a vehicle speeding away from the scene immediately after the shooting.
Investigators identified two men connected to the case. Christopher T. Horton was identified as the shooter, and Anthony Hardaway was said to have driven the vehicle used in the incident. Hardaway was later arrested in Massachusetts. In 2016 Hardaway pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit first-degree murder for his role in the crime.
There is public information about arrests and legal proceedings that followed the shooting. If anyone witnessed the February 18 scene, saw a fleeing vehicle that night, or has other information about Perry Folk’s death, please share what is known with investigators.
