Aljernon ’A.J.’ Lloyd Jr was 64 when he was shot and killed in Jackson, Tennessee, on the evening of March 11, 2014. Lloyd was sitting in his car at a friend’s Greenwood Avenue home around 7:30 p.m. when Ytockie Fuller, identified as the woman’s ex-boyfriend, approached with a gun. Lloyd tried to drive away but was struck by gunfire, then drove about half a mile before crashing into a porch on East Forest Avenue. He was taken to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and pronounced dead.

Fuller surrendered to police two days after the shooting and was later indicted for first-degree murder. At a two-day trial in April 2015 the jury convicted Fuller of first-degree murder after roughly thirty minutes of deliberation; the murder weapon was never recovered. Fuller received a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

Are there details from that night or the neighborhood anyone recalls that could shed more light on what happened?
