On the evening of May 4, 2008, 17-year-old Cody Faircloth was shot and killed in Southaven, Mississippi. His friend, 17-year-old James Liner, was also killed that night after an argument escalated into gunfire.
Southaven police identified two suspects in the double homicide, LeDarius Williams and Christopher D. Wright. Reports say Williams later pleaded guilty. Wright was tried as the person identified as the shooter and was convicted; he received a 45-year prison sentence.
The killings devastated two families and the Southaven community. If anyone has information about Cody’s last hours, his activities that evening, or knew him and can add to the record, please share what is known.
