Princess Magaret Omobogie, an 18-year-old from Garland, Texas, was fatally shot on July 5, 2022, and died two days later on July 8, 2022. She had just graduated from South Garland High School in June 2022 and was remembered by family for dancing, baking, and making TikToks for her nieces and nephews. She was born December 28, 2003, in Arlington to parents Friday Omobogie and Angel Hartfield.

One of the guns accidentally discharged, striking Princess. The 16-year-old was later arrested and charged with manslaughter. Garland police said the investigation remained ongoing and that they were trying to determine where the guns came from and how a minor obtained them.

Anyone who knew Princess or has information about the shooting at the apartment complex off Apollo Road in Garland is asked to come forward.
