Hillary Plouck, 31, was killed and her sister Hayley injured in a shooting at a Valero gas station in Rowlett, Texas, on July 4, 2022. Officers arrived about 7:28 p.m. and found both women with gunshot wounds; both were taken to a local hospital where Hillary was pronounced dead and Hayley survived.

Hayley told police they had been shot by her boyfriend, Keith Richmond, 34. Richmond was located at his Garland home after a brief foot pursuit and arrested by the Garland Police Department. He was charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence. Records in the case note Richmond had a prior 2008 murder charge, was on bond in a pending drug case at the time of the shooting, and had been involved in human trafficking.

The shooting shattered a family and the community. Does anyone have information about Hillary or Hayley’s life, or about the events that led to July 4, 2022?
