Jesus Correa-Munoz, a 32-year-old Hispanic landscaper, was killed on May 15, 2022, on Huron Street in Cleburne, Texas, when a pickup truck ran over him after a personal dispute. Two women who were with him were injured; one suffered multiple broken ribs and was taken to Harris Hospital in Fort Worth. Witnesses initially thought the driver was reversing, but investigators concluded the driver accelerated and intentionally struck Jesus.

Police identified the driver as 23-year-old Alejandro Lopez. Investigators recovered an older model white Chevy single cab pickup tied to the incident, and an arrest warrant for murder was issued for Lopez; he later turned himself in. Jesus left behind a wife and child in Mexico and his family, including brother Jose Luis Munoz, expressed profound grief.
