Keishan Betts, 46, of Webster, Texas, died of a gunshot wound after being found with life‑threatening injuries at an apartment complex at 270 El Dorado Boulevard in the Clear Lake area on April 17, 2022. She was taken to HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake and died there on April 25, 2022.

Police arrested 44‑year‑old Delvin Clemons in connection with the shooting. Clemons reportedly walked out of the apartment and told officers that Betts was dead in the bathroom; officers then found Betts with a gunshot wound. After consultation with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Clemons was charged with murder and is in custody at the Harris County Jail awaiting trial.
