Bradley Bowles, 35, was shot on the evening of March 6, 2022, in the 600 block of West Morgan Avenue in Cuero, Texas. A truck driver and skilled handyman, he was known in his community for generosity and a ready smile. Found alive at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds, he was taken to Cuero Regional Hospital and died of his injuries.
Investigators quickly identified a suspect, Sone Quintero Rojas, and sought him on charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Rojas, who had an address in Victoria, was believed to be hiding in the San Antonio area and was considered armed and dangerous; the weapon used in the shooting had not been recovered.
The District Attorney’s office credited Bradley’s family, especially his mother Angie Bowles, for sustained determination during the investigation. Does anyone who knew Bradley or was in Cuero on March 6, 2022 have information that could add detail to what happened that night?
