Phil Clark, an 82-year-old resident of Corsicana, Texas, was shot to death on February 7, 2022. He was found in the 100 block of Bonner Avenue in Angus, Navarro County, with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.

The Navarro County Sheriff’s Office identified 20-year-old Michael Preston Edwards as the alleged shooter. Edwards was arrested in Hempstead, Waller County, and charged with murder. Authorities have not disclosed a motive or the nature of any relationship between Edwards and Clark; the investigation remains active.
