David Brian Maxwell, 43, of Fort Worth, was shot and killed on February 6, 2022, in Elgin, Texas. The shooting happened inside Maxwell’s truck at 1098 Deerwood Drive in the Beaukiss area near the Lee County/Williamson County border. Reports say he was shot twice, once in the left temple and once below the left ear.
Authorities arrested 45-year-old Timothy Paul Bradshaw of Elgin and charged him with murder, unlawful restraint, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Investigators say Bradshaw had handcuffed 27-year-old Abigayle Leigh Haynes to a headboard against her will and used her phone to text Maxwell, asking for help with boxes so she could leave; Maxwell was shot after he arrived. Bradshaw was held on a $500,000 bond.
Does anyone have additional information about Maxwell, Haynes, or the events at Deerwood Drive that night?
