De Angelo Devon Handy, known as Dee, was an 18-year-old student at Premier High School and a stocker at Rehkopf’s Food Store. He was shot and killed on December 13, 2021, at a house in the 1900 block of W. 13th St. in Texarkana, Texas. Reports describe him as a sports and fashion enthusiast who enjoyed spending time with family and as a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, and grandson.

The same shooting also killed 18-year-old Rickalon Young and wounded a 17-year-old who survived. Authorities identified 18-year-old Kevonte Collins as a suspect after he was seen running from the house with a long gun and an extended magazine. Collins was arrested in DeSoto, Texas, on May 1, 2022.
