Gerardo Aguilar was 23 when he was last seen at his Santa Monica apartment on November 11, 1989. A neighbor may have seen him taking out the garbage that day, and the apartment’s television was left on when he disappeared. All of his personal belongings — clothing, shoes, money, and identification — were found inside, suggesting he did not plan to be gone long.

Aguilar is 5 feet 3 inches tall, about 125 pounds, with straight black hair and possibly a mustache, beard, or goatee at the time. He was known to wear a black Casio wristwatch; what he wore the day he vanished is unknown. No solid leads have developed and the Santa Monica Police Department continues to investigate.
