Sabion Ramone Kubitza, 22, of Mart, Texas, was shot and killed on the night of April 18, 2021 while sleeping in his home.

Sabion was described as athletic and active in sports, having attended Hallsburg schools through sixth grade, graduated from Riesel High School in 2017, and later attended UMHB on a football scholarship. At the time of his death he worked at A&G Irrigation. The account states that Zamar’s DNA was found on the gun used, his footprints matched prints at the scene, and he was arrested and charged with capital murder; the text reports he was found guilty in June 2023 and sentenced to life without parole.

If anyone knew Sabion, Jacob, or the events that night, does anyone have information that could add detail about what happened or the victims’ lives?
