Debbie L. Hall was 24 when she was last seen in Carthage, Missouri, on August 2, 1987. At that time she was described as 5 feet 10 inches, 128 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Witnesses reported she wore a light green sweater vest, blue jeans and white tennis shoes, and was carrying a beige leather purse. Her file notes two small, side-by-side puncture scars on her right hip as a distinguishing feature.

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is the investigating agency. Very few details about the circumstances of her disappearance have been released publicly, and there have been no widely reported developments that explain what happened. Her family has not had answers and the case remains open but cold.
