Jose Joey Manuel DeLaRosa, 40, was shot and killed on February 12, 2021, in Longview, Texas. The shooting took place during an argument between DeLaRosa and 40-year-old Tolla Michelle McNeely inside a vehicle parked at the Triple Creek shopping center on Judson Road. DeLaRosa was found sitting inside the vehicle with a gunshot wound and was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

Longview police arrested McNeely and charged her with murder; she was held in the Gregg County Jail while the department investigated. Her attorney David E. Moore later said McNeely pleaded to a lesser charge of manslaughter based on extenuating circumstances, the murder charge was dismissed, and she received a nine-year state prison sentence.

Anyone who knew DeLaRosa or who has information about the shooting at Triple Creek on February 12, 2021, is asked to come forward.
