David Mark Wheeler was 30 when he disappeared from Braintree, Massachusetts, just four days before he was to walk his sister down the aisle. He was last seen leaving his mother’s home on Livoli Avenue on May 7, 1985, reportedly in the company of his new brother-in-law. David never showed up for the wedding and was not heard from afterward.
He is described as a white male, brown hair, brown eyes, about 5 feet 11 inches and 175 pounds, possibly with a beard. Distinguishing marks include a tattoo of his nickname Dave on his upper arm and a long scar from hip to the back of his knee from surgery that left one leg shorter than the other. The Braintree Police Department opened an investigation, but the circumstances of his departure and what followed remain unclear.
If anyone saw David around May 7, 1985, or has information about his movements after he left his mother’s house, please come forward.
