Has anyone else been following the case of Charles Robert Carter from Mexia? I understand that the investigation concluded his death was self-inflicted, but it really makes me wonder about the last days or hours of his life. I can’t imagine what his family and friends are going through, losing someone in such a tragic way. It's haunting to think about what must have been going on in his mind. Sometimes, in cases ruled as suicides, people notice signs or changes in behavior that they wish they had paid more attention to. Did anyone who knew Charles mention anything like that? It's so important that we keep looking out for each other, especially if someone seems off or is struggling. My thoughts are with all who knew him; I hope they have the support they need.
