Christopher Bruckner, 51, was found shot dead on July 22, 2020, on the 3900 block of Tumbleweed Trail in Midland, Texas. Midland Police responded to a shots-fired call around 5 p.m.; officers pronounced Bruckner dead at the scene and described the circumstances as suspicious.

Investigators launched an immediate homicide probe and interviewed several witnesses at the scene. Another man who had been present was taken into custody for questioning but was not charged. No arrests have been made and police have not released information about suspects or a motive.
