Timothy Wayne Niles, 53, and his wife Patricia Niles, 56, were both found with gunshot wounds at their Pflugerville, Texas, home on the evening of February 1, 2020. Pflugerville police responded to a shots fired call at about 7:50 p.m.; Timothy was taken to a nearby hospital but both he and Patricia died of their injuries. The incident was described as isolated with no threat to the public.

Investigators reported that Patricia allegedly shot Timothy first and that Timothy then shot Patricia in what was described as a retaliatory, defensive act.
