Jason Lee Bowling, a 48-year-old white man, was found dead inside a home in the 5600 block of SE 2010 Mildred in Corsicana, Texas, on January 7, 2020. Deputies from the Navarro County Sheriff’s Office responding to a reported shooting discovered Bowling deceased in the residence; Justice of the Peace Greta Jordan declared his death resulted from the shooting after an autopsy.

A man identified as Wallace Jenkins was located in the driveway and told deputies he had shot Bowling inside the house. Jenkins was arrested at the scene and charged with murder; he is in custody at the Navarro County Jail as legal proceedings were pending. The Corsicana Police Department and the Navarro County Sheriff’s Office continued their investigation.
