Wilfredo Cabello, 37, was found dead inside a burned-out truck along a rural road in Lakehills, Bandera County, Texas, on November 16, 2019. He had last been seen the previous day at a triplex on West French Place north of downtown San Antonio; authorities confirmed his identity after an autopsy. Cabello worked as a painter and was originally from Piedras Negras.
Investigators are treating the case as a murder. His wife, Carla, reported seeing his truck and blood inside the house when she checked on him after he didn’t answer calls. Detectives say they found evidence of foul play and surveillance footage from across the street showing a white truck backing up and three people loading something heavy into it the night before the body was discovered. No arrests have been announced and the investigation remains open.
Did anyone in the area see that white truck or recognize the people captured on the footage?
