Edgar Francisco Garcia, 42, was shot in Laredo, Texas, on the morning of August 18, 2019, and later died at Laredo Medical Center. A lifelong Laredo resident, he was survived by his wife, Yvonne Garcia, their children and grandchildren. Police and emergency medical services found Garcia with gunshot wounds on the 1700 block of Callaghan Street and transported him to the hospital.

That morning shooting was one of two separate incidents at the same Callaghan Street address within about 10 hours. Alejandro Sanchez, 18, and Miguel Hernandez, 22, were also wounded in the first incident and reported in stable condition. Around noon the same day a second shooting at the same address left Juan Antonio Rocha, 34, dead and Rocky Rangel, 33, injured.

Authorities say the victims had extensive criminal histories. No suspects have been named and the investigation remains open. If anyone has information about the shootings or knew Edgar, please come forward to assist the investigation.
