Ronnie Earl Kidd, 30, was fatally shot on May 27, 2012, while stopped at a traffic light in West Oakland. The shooting happened in the early morning hours and Kidd was pronounced dead at the scene. Police described circumstances that suggested the shooting might have been targeted, but no suspects were immediately identified.

Oakland police and Kidd’s family issued public pleas for information. If anyone has information about Kidd, his movements that night, or the vehicle and people involved, please come forward to assist the investigation.
