Pamela Thibodeaux, 37, of Beaumont, Texas, was shot in the head after an argument at a local grocery store on April 13, 2019. The shooting was described as a drive-by; Thibodeaux died of her wounds three days later.

A 36-year-old Beaumont man, Dion Lenoire, was arrested in connection with the incident. He was initially charged with aggravated assault, and the charge was later updated to murder after Thibodeaux’s death. The Beaumont Police Department led the investigation with Officer Gabriel Fells, Detective Mark Hogge, and Detective Staci Landor involved; the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office handled prosecution.
