Diane Licciardello, 28, disappeared after leaving Bradlee’s department store in Chelsea Plaza on the evening of October 12, 1971. She had left work early that day and was seen shopping at Bradlee’s; a store clerk confirmed her presence around 9:10 PM when she departed. Her car was found in the store parking lot the next day with a flat tire caused by a nail, a detail that prompted concern about the abruptness of her disappearance.

A carnival was operating in the parking lot that night and investigators interviewed carnival workers, but no significant leads developed. Diane was described as having brown hair, standing 5 feet 2 inches, and weighing about 120 pounds. Despite family reports and investigations, no trace of her has been found and the case remains unsolved.

If anyone remembers Diane, the events at Chelsea Plaza that night, or the carnival in the parking lot, please share what you know.
