Albinus Zoerner, 62, of Burleson, Texas, died after being shot during an altercation at a neighbor’s home on February 4, 2019. The shooting occurred at Patrick Daniel Murphy’s residence in the 600 block of Lynnewood Avenue. Paramedics and firefighters tried to revive Zoerner at the scene and in transit to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth; he was pronounced dead at 4:51 p.m.

Police reports state Murphy, 42, told officers Zoerner had threatened him; Murphy was arrested and charged with murder and held at the Johnson County Jail.
