Clifford Wayne Wicker Jr., 29, of Garland, Texas, was shot and killed on January 30, 2019, after confronting two people who were breaking into his work van in the parking lot of Pecan Knoll Apartments. A neighbor alerted Wicker while he was inside his apartment; he went downstairs to investigate and was shot multiple times and died at the scene. The suspects fled, leaving behind the tools they had tried to steal, and police describe them as dangerous.
Wicker was a working plumber and is remembered by his family as a loving husband and father to three young children. The family has offered a $30,000 reward for information leading to the suspects’ arrest. The Garland Police Department has urged neighbors to be vigilant and to check any surveillance footage that could identify the suspects.
Who in the area might have seen activity near Pecan Knoll Apartments that night or has footage from January 30, 2019, that could help investigators?
