Sharonn LaRoyce Cole, a 41-year-old man from Port Arthur, Texas, was found early on December 2, 2018, in the 400 block of Fort Worth Avenue near Procter Street and Club Sistah’s. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. The slaying was recorded as the 14th homicide in Port Arthur that year; police reported 10 of the city’s homicides had been cleared with arrests.

Investigators identified a person of interest after tips to Crime Stoppers and calls to the police department. Beyond those leads and the location details, little has been made public about motive or the timeline leading up to the shooting.
