Jeremy Sandoval, 22, of Taft, Texas, was one of four men killed in a shooting that took place during a birthday party at a Taft home on October 13, 2018. The confrontation began with a dispute over an earlier allegation that a man identified as Juan Espinoza, also known as Juan Sandoval, had been seen peeking into a window at the residence. That allegation led to a heated exchange between Espinoza and 20-year-old partygoer Ronnie Rodriguez Jr.
The victims named were Juan Espinoza Sr., 62; Juan Sandoval III, 20; Jeremy Sandoval, 22; and Nicky Sandoval, 25. A fifth man, Juan Espinoza Jr., 43, was injured and survived. Ronnie Rodriguez Jr. was arrested on suspicion of deadly conduct by discharging a firearm, and Ronnie Rodriguez Sr. was later arrested by the U.S. Marshals Task Force and charged with capital murder of multiple persons.
The shooting demolished a birthday gathering and left multiple families grieving. Does anyone have information about Jeremy’s activities that night or knew him and can help clarify what led up to the confrontation?
